Calla Lily Recipes 食譜篇 - 巴胡盧玫瑰蛋糕 (KUIH BAHULU ROS)

巴胡盧玫瑰蛋糕 (KUIH BAHULU ROS)

Ingredients :-
250g sponge mix
4 large eggs
50g melted butter
50ml evaporated creamer
3 teaspoon rose essence
A few drops of cochineal colouring

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease bahulu mould and heat it in the oven.

2. Beat sponge mix with eggs and evaporated creamer till light and fluffy for 5 minutes in a mixer.

3. Spoon mixture into preheated mould, ¾ full and bake it for 20 minutes or until the top is golden in colour. Use a bamboo skewer and pick cooked bahulu out of the mould.

4. Lightly grease mould again, and repeat process until batter is used up.

5. Store cooled bahulu in an airtight container.
