Ingredients :-
20g ginseng roots (yong sum shoh), washed and drained
15g liquorice (kam choh), washed and drained
200 rock sugar
80g dried chrysanthemum, washed and drained
1. Combine 3 litres water, ginseng roots, liquorice in a pot. Bring to a boil and then lower fire and simmer mixture for 20 mins.
2. Add rock sugar and continue to cook until sugar dissolves.
3. Put in chrysanthemum and bring mixture to a boil. Cover pot and turn off fire.
4. Let chrysanthemum infuse the mixture for ½ hour before serving. Drain tea and serve.
TIP : This drink is good to reduce heatiness in the body and is also a refreshing drink for both cold or hot days.
